Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Utilization of Garuda Indonesia Group Services between the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency and Garuda Indonesia

(Jakarta/18/2/2026) – Garuda Indonesia and the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the utilization of Garuda Indonesia Group services. The signing, which took place at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, marks a strategic step toward strengthening inter-institutional synergy through the utilization of integrated services available within the Garuda Indonesia Group to support the operational needs and official mobility of the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency. The agreement serves as a foundation for both parties to develop collaboration across various areas, including official travel, event arrangements, and other supporting services in accordance with the agreed scope of cooperation. This synergy is expected to provide greater convenience and enhance service effectiveness for the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency.

The signing ceremony was attended by Garuda Indonesia President Director, Glenny H. Kairupan, and the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as a representative of the Istiqlal Mosque Management Agency, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A. The presence of the leaders reflects a shared commitment to building a strategic partnership focused on improving service quality and strengthening collaboration between institutions. Also in attendance were the Board of Directors of Aerofood ACS and management representatives from several Aerowisata Group entities, including Aero Globe Indonesia and Aero Hotel Management.
