Strengthening Safety Awareness, Aerofood ACS participated in “Safety Day: Connect to Protect” with Garuda Indonesia Group
Tangerang (18/10) Safety is something that cannot be underestimated, especially in the aviation industry that prioritizes passenger safety and comfort. This is a serious concern for all members of the Garuda Group, including PT Aerofood Indonesia, which is part of Aerowisata. On October 18, 2023, Garuda Indonesia Group held a special event called “Safety Day” with the theme “Connect to Protect.” This event is a real effort to strengthen safety awareness and foster a spirit of collaboration among all entities in the Garuda Group.
On Safety Day this time, Aerofood ACS also enlivened the event by displaying the Lab Kitchen at the booth exhibition. Visitors who came to PT Aerofood’s “Lab Kitchen” booth had the opportunity to experience two interesting activities. First, they can try the dishing/portioning activity, where they will feel the sensation of the food preparation process in the kitchen. This activity is not only fun, but also shows how important cleanliness, tidiness, and thoroughness are in the process of serving food, visitors also have a unique opportunity to understand more about microbiological safety at this booth. They were able to see the types of bacteria that may be present in the kitchen environment through a microscope. This provided a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
With the event “Safety Day: Connect to Protect” Garuda Group and PT Aerofood Indonesia reaffirmed their commitment to keep safety as a top priority. This activity is not just an event, but also a tangible manifestation of our shared passion to protect and provide a safe flight experience for all passengers.
We are all part of the success of aviation safety, and “Safety Day” is a valuable moment to celebrate this. Through collaboration and increased awareness, we can “Connect to Protect,” sustaining a safe and reliable aviation industry.
