Garuda Indonesia and Aerofood ACS Offer KOLs an In-Flight Catering Experience

(Tangerang/5/5/2026) – Garuda Indonesia and Aerofood ACS successfully held the Garuda Indonesia Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Gathering on Tuesday, 5 May 2026. The event provided KOLs with an opportunity to gain first-hand experience of in-flight catering services while learning more about the processes behind the meals served to passengers during their flights.

Through this activity, the KOLs were invited to explore how airline meals are prepared by taking into consideration various aspects, from ingredient selection and production processes to packaging and presentation. The experience provided an overview of the processes carried out by Aerofood ACS to ensure that every meal served meets established quality and food safety standards. The KOLs also had the opportunity to visit the Aerofood ACS production area and observe first-hand the preparation of airline meals. Participants were introduced to the implementation of hygiene, sanitation, food safety standards, and operational procedures, all of which are essential components of in-flight catering services.

The event became even more interactive through an airplane meal box decorating competition involving all participants. The activity gave the KOLs an opportunity to express their creativity while creating a closer and more engaging experience with the world of in-flight catering.
