Yanti Herlina R. Siregar Shares Perspectives on Women’s Role in Suistainable Business at the 2025 Women Empowerment Conference

Jakarta (14/04/2025) – Yanti Herlina R. Siregar, Acting President Director of Aerofood ACS, shared her inspiring insights at the Mustika Ratu Women Empowerment Conference 2025 held at The Westin Jakarta. With the theme “Unlock Our Potential in Business: Lead the Change, Sustain the Business,” Yanti delivered sharp and motivational reflections on women’s leadership and the importance of a human-centered approach in building sustainable businesses.

Drawing from her extensive experience in the catering and food service industry, Yanti emphasized that women’s leadership is not only about the ability to make decisions but also about listening, understanding, and guiding teams to grow together. “As a female leader, we must be strong enough to lead change. These changes must be carried out collectively. Our team must be agile, innovative, highly competitive, and resilient. As women, we must have endurance and resilience to balance our responsibilities,” said Yanti.

She further explained that the key to effective human resource management lies in empathy and empowerment. “As women in management-level positions, we must be able to activate our ‘engine’—our human resources. With heart, we need to listen to their concerns, offer solutions—not just by commanding, but also by educating, giving them opportunities to learn, and providing space for their growth,” she added.

Yanti also highlighted the gender composition of Aerofood ACS’s board of directors as a reflection of inclusive leadership. “With two women and one man currently serving on the Aerofood ACS board, it shows that women are increasingly taking strategic positions—not only in government but also in the business sector,” she said.

Through her presentation, Yanti hopes to inspire more women to step into strategic roles within their respective industries and to continue developing themselves into visionary, resilient, and inclusive leaders of the future.

Her presence at the conference was especially meaningful for the finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2025, who are expected to become role models and agents of change for Indonesian women in the years to come.
